Hi

I am a character modeler from India.

Your works are excellent.
Your extreme understanding of anatomy is shown in your models.
Your models made me to enhance my anatomy knowledge.
The nose muscle model over the Skull is a good lesson for me.
All the artists are thankful to you for publishing
such models in Internet.

Amazing stuff mate! Im a big fan of your works, such an inspiration for me :)
I´ve got one question, on the modeling video, the "detailing the toes" part, you hide the whole body but the left foot, what kind of settings do you use to keep tweaking the mesh even when it is hide? I aways asked if there was a way to do it, and now I saw it on your video...

thank you very much,
Best Regards

Im very impressed on your work. Always getting the highest detail out of a mesh resolution step.

Hope you will get some rolls out of this.

Hi,
Thank you very much for the comments!

David: It’s my one tweaked ZBrush standard UI. I have only removed the background gradient and made the palette color a little bit lighter than the original was. Maybe I’m going to share the UI interface one day :)

popol and dkdk: I’m using the matcap materials created by Adam Lewis. He has posted them on tweakcg.com a few months ago. Unfortunately the forum isn’t available any longer. A ZBrush Central member posted the following download link to the package: http://mihd.net/etbqlfx . Credit go to Adam Lewis for these amazing materials!

Adam: I always start modeling in a “neutral” pose. So you can work in symmetry mode without any problems and on the areas that are maybe hidden in other poses. When I’m done with all the sculpting work, I step down to the lowest subdivision and start posing with the transpose tool. You can store a morph target to switch between the standard pose and the new one or you can pose the model completely on a separate layer. When you turn the layer of, the model will be in his initial pose again. You could store different poses on different layers if you want. Posing always requires some tweaking on the anatomy. Parts get stretched or compressed and you have to fix that by hand.

Best regards, Selwy

Great work man! I love the classical feel your pieces always have.

You said you use the transpose tool for your posing, but it looks like you sculpt at least some in a relaxed pose. Could you expand a bit on your sculpting/posing process? Do you do something like pose at lvl 1, export for later, sculpt in relaxed state, re-import the lvl1 pose and touch up areas?

I've heard people say they put the posed mesh on a layer, but wasn't sure how that works.

Thanks for any help and the inspirational work!

Love your works! love that flesh-over-the-muscles feeling that have your models.
For me your reel is the best I've ever seen, hope you get some supercool work where you can keep and improve (if possible) your outstanding sculpting skills!

btw, would be cool if you can share your material or lighting setup when you sculpt, that matcap looks sooo mudbox... ;)
